Introduction

An auger valve bag filler with ultrasonic sealing is a specialized packaging machine used primarily for filling and sealing fine powders (like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or food products) into valve-type bags. These machines combine precision auger dosing, valve bag technology, and ultrasonic sealing for a clean, efficient, and dust-free packaging process.

How It Works

1. Bag Placement: An operator or robot places an empty valve bag (with a pre-formed inner valve) onto the filling spout. The bag is clamped airtight.

2. Auger Filling Cycle:

   • A rotating helical screw (the auger) inside a tube draws product from the hopper.

   • The product is conveyed precisely down the filling spout and through the bag's valve into the bag.

   • Dust Control: During filling, air displaced from the bag is vented back through the system's dust recovery ports, creating a closed, dust-free loop.

   • Filling Modes:

     • Gravimetric: The most accurate. The entire filling head is mounted on a load cell. The auger feeds quickly, then slows to a "dribble" to hit the exact target weight.

     • Volumetric: Less expensive. The system dispenses a pre-set volume per revolution of the auger. Accuracy depends on consistent product density.

3. Ultrasonic Sealing:

   • The filled bag is conveyed to the sealing station.

   • An ultrasonic horn presses against the thermoplastic valve.

   • High-frequency vibrations create friction heat, melting the valve's inner layers and fusing them into a permanent, hermetic seal in under a second.

Screw Conveyor with Feeding Hopper and Spiral Ribbon Mixer

The screw conveyor is of Φ165X3500mm, feeding material to the mixer. The outer and inner screw ribbon blade driven by high speed rotating shaft, mixing the material in maximum, inner screw ribbon blade forced the material to sides ,outer screw ribbon blade forced sides material to inward, mix the materials back and forth. In the same time, some material driven by screw ribbon do the radial motion, to form the convective mixing, so to achieve uniform mixing effect in relatively short time. The mixing time:10-15min/batch

Storage silo

The storage silo is of 1.5m³, store the finished material and prepare for the packing machine, which improves the efficiency highly.

Packing Machine
